PLANET EXOTICA This is my fourth Re-Volt track - inspired by my preadolescent experiences during my summer vacaions at Stone Harbor and Outer Banks. Name - Planet Exotica Author - The Green J Length - 750 meters Difficulty - Medium Software used - Blender, Paint.net, PowerPoint, Audacity, RVGL's MAKEITGOOD, jigebren's WorldCut, Anvil Studio, Keppy's MIDI Converter Story: The RVSA was on a mission when a shuttle named Bertha 35 spotted a strange, uncharted planet colored in tan and light blue, and Captain Tracey ordered that they land and discover what the commotion is. The new planet was found to house not only breathable air, but also earthly terrain, bodies of water, and special gravity that helps everything stand on its own. It was a whole new world full of exotic life and endless opporitunities. Over the next several weeks, they developed the land into the biggest summer resort in the universe, including a city full of luxury, entertainment, and nightlife. Ultimately, having made a breakthrough, Captain Tracey and his crew gave the new world a new name: Planet Exotica. The planet has since then become easily navigatable and thus travel-friendly, and the fastest and most efficient form of transportation is via a special kind of spacecraft - passenger space shuttles capable of warp speed. Trivia: - This track is made using Keyran's Rally PRM kit - One of the radios plays the in-game music from my previous track, Warped Farmhouse. Others play Re-Volt's redbook music. - The unicycles stay upright because of the unique gravity on the planet. - The casino building is inspired by Luxor at Las Vegas. - Regarding the music: - This is my first attempt at composing original electronic music. I would be happy to have someone remaster it if at all possible. - Part of the music contains a reference to benderfan3124's great track-making improvement (you'll see). Inspirations: - Uh oh... too many to list for the "exotic" idea in my opinion. Yep, they were all from the summers of my elementary school years... Notice: When I started making tracks, I wanted to split each one into two versions: the "main" version, and the "tournament" version. I made the tournament versions blander than the main versions and declared that they could only be played in tournaments and other special Re-Volt events. After I released my second track, Warped Farmhouse, I saw a few YouTube videos of regular gameplay in the tournament versions of my tracks. Since I want the players to get the most out of my tracks during regular gameplay, I've decided to discontinue the "main/tournament" versioning, starting with this track. I might bring it back in a different way, but maybe not at all. Thank you for understanding. I hope you all enjoy my tracks anyway.
