HOLIDAY LIGHTWAY This Re-Volt track is based on another of my memories - the Christmas decorations I see around me every year. Name - Holiday Lightway Author - The Green J Length - 680 meters, both directions Difficulty - Hard Software used - Blender, Paint.net, PowerPoint, Audacity, RVGL's MAKEITGOOD, LMMS Story: The Re-Volt stock cars are flying home for Christmas after an excellent Classic session. SUddenly, when a strong blizzard struck, their plane was forced to make an emergency landing. They crash land in an open location where all of the toys and decorations have become stranded thanks to the blizzard. They now have to put all of the toys and decorations to their proper places while racing home themselves. Trivia: - Like Panet Exotica, this track is made using Keyran's Rally PRM kit. - This is my first ever track to feature a REVERSE VERSION! Sure, it took a little bit to make it happen, but I did it! - The robot judges' scores are a reference to Re-Volt's release date: - 8 = August - 9.2 = 9*2=18 - 9.9 = 1999 Inspirations: - Once more, in my opinion, there are just as many for this track as there were for Planet Exotica: too many to list. Credits and thank-you's: - Keyran, for the Rally PRM kit. - Kiwi, for the material and sound properties from The Great Silence. - Xarc, for the textures from Snowland 1 and a sound from RC Stadium 1/2. - Concrete texture: https://screamingbrainstudios.itch.io/photorealistic-texture-pack - Acclaim, for the game itself and some models. - Reused game sounds from: - Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat (c) 2003 Vivendi Universal, Universal, DreamWorks, Magenta Software, and Theodor "Dr. Seuss" Geisel himself - Frank Wen, for the Fluid R3 SoundFont I used for my original composition for this track. - Last, but not least: The Re-Volt community as a whole, for keeping the game alive for years (and decades)!
